Our signature class combines resistance, lengthening, strength training and cardio into a high-energy, music fueled, complete workout.
This is a great place for people who are new to the studio or any kind of Pilates method or fitness regimen to start. It is also a good place for students moving from PostNatal and Private sessions into group classes. The Control Method Basic class is also appropriate for anyone who has already been taking classes but wants a refresher on form and some of the basics of our Program.
The class is designed to teach you the fundamentals of The Pilates Method (language, movements, breathing and body alignment) as well as teach you how to use the equipment correctly and safely. After completing one Control Method Basic class, you will begin to understand how to maximize benefit from your workouts.
If your Basic class instructor feels you are not yet ready to join in on the quick pace of our Open Level class, they may suggest one or two private sessions or additional Basic classes before signing up for an Open Level class. This is to ensure your safety and comfort as well as to maintain the flow of the classes.
In our Advanced Level class, clients are familiar with the technique/equipment and are prepared for a more intense, cardiovascular workout.
